❓ FAQ
Q: How is this different from a regular lamp?
A: Regular lamps typically output 300–500 lux at desk level — far below the 10,000 lux clinically proven to affect mood and circadian biology. The Saturn delivers a therapeutic intensity of 10,000 lux, proven in clinical settings for SAD and sleep improvement.
Q: Do I need to stare directly at the light?
A: No. Simply position the lamp within 30–50cm of your line of sight. The light enters your peripheral vision indirectly. Keep your eyes open and go about your activity — reading, eating breakfast, working at your desk.
Q: Is 10,000 lux safe for the eyes?
A: Yes. 10,000 lux is comparable to natural outdoor light on an overcast winter morning. Unlike UV light, LED therapy light does not damage the eyes. However, do not look directly at the lamp at full brightness for extended periods.
Q: Is it safe to use every day?
A: Yes. The lamp produces no UV, no flicker, and operates at safe low voltage. Daily use of 20–60 minutes is recommended by clinical guidelines.
Q: Can I use it in the evening?
A: Yes — but we recommend switching to Sleep Mode (2700K) in the evening. Using the 6500K daylight mode too late may overstimulate melatonin suppression and interfere with your sleep.
